Trick Or Treat

So I am going to come out and admit it, I am not the biggest fan of Halloween, but I don't want to ruin all the fun for my kiddos so I let them do all the planning. This year Holliday wanted to be a ladybug and Lucia wanted to be Cinderella and as usual Asher wanted to be Luke Skywalker. Asher and Holliday were easy. We had all the Luke stuff laying, as Asher has frequently dressed up like Luke over the last few years.....not just on Halloween, but on any given day. Holliday's lady bug was easy too we just used dance wear and found some wings and added pipe cleaner antenna's and she had some ladybug shoes already. Lucia on the other hand.....we went looking and found the most adorable Cinderella dress at the thrift shore. We added a blue headband, glass slippers, pearls and long white gloves. We wore it for two days before Halloween all day long! Then, on Halloween 20 minutes before we are going trick o treating she decided her Cinderella dress is too tight and kind of itchy. Oh Lou, so she opted for some random fairy dress and wings. Oh well, at least now we have a full Cinderella costume for next week when she decides to be Cinderella all day long again. I love kids, everyday is a dress up day in our house. You never know when you might come by and find a monkey, a fairy princess, or a Jedi knight just hanging out!
