Showered with Love...

The throne....for Lea while she opened her gifts.

The Lolly bar where departing gifts filled wax bags with Lea's favorite candies. Lemondrops, hot tamales, cherry sours, and bubble gum.

The hostess's with the mostess's

Asher, made a short appearance.

I stuck baby pictures of Lea and Anthony in flower 'frogs" mason jars and scattered around the party.

I purchased a vintage library for baby Vega and had each guest sign a book.
Lea and Great Grandmas to be.

Coconut Cake and Cookies and Milk!

My most previous child hood friend is about to have a baby! I am so excited I want to scream it from the mountain tops and tell everyone I know. Soon little baby Vega will be here and I can hold her and squeeze her cute baby cheeks and eat her baby toes. I can't wait!!! A few weeks ago ,with the help of my mom and great buddy Jessica, we threw a shower honoring Lea and her baby girl. Although a little breezy the day was gorgeous. Jess (owner of PeeBee and Jays and the Corktree....she knows what she's doing)  made some awesome sammies and salads, and home made cookies!!! Our other buddy Jess Mayer topped it off with a Coconut cake ,Lea's favorite. My mom and I got to focus on the Little details. As usual I wish I would have taken more photos, but I was busy having too much fun.

Good Friends + Calistoga Ranch....the perfect pairing

Would you jump in an old BMW and drive 7 hours on the suggestion of these crazies? Well I am glad I did

View out our open living room....

Stairs leading from living room to bedroom. There is a tree in the stairway!

Wine barrel sink.

Pretty much sums up Amber's weekend.

Can't decide....

LOVE

The ceiling in the pool house at Constant Winery

It was about one o'clock when my friend Jenny called and said....Sarah I am sitting here with Heidi in an amazingly glorious, swanky tree house at the Calistoga Ranch. There is tons of room and it is luxurious. Get you rear end up here. So I pondered for a bit....through some clothes in a bag hoping something I threw in would match, and grabbed one of my besties, Amber, and we jumped in the car. 7 hours later we were no longer cursing Jenny and Heidi for putting the crazy thought in our minds, but praising them for inviting us. LUXURY is not a good enough word HEAVENLY is more like it. Our tree house was complete with in door and out door living rooms, kitchen, two bedrooms and over the top bathrooms. All surrounded by and open to the incredible Napa Valley. We were only able to be gone for a little over 48 hours but we managed to catch up on sleep, laugh, drink some amazing vino, laugh, eat some amazing food, laugh, do some yoga, laugh, tour an amazing vineyard estate (Constant Winery) and just enjoy each other. IT WAS GLORIOUS. Somehow our hubbies (amazing as they are) pulled it off without us which makes me wonder....why don't we do this more. Thanks Jenny for an amazing time.

Bye Bye Binkie

Today was a big day here in our small house. Holliday went all day long without her binkie. She told me that the princess took it. So I rolled with it....and the princess brought her chocolate cupcakes to celebrate. No turning back now. She is too grown up. Now I am sappy.....
