January 15th was the girls birthday. This year I decided that I would abandon all responsibilities....let the laundry sit, let the dishes pile up NOT make the beds and simply ENJOY my baby girls We had so much fun! After Asher and Aaron went off to work and school we lounged in bed and sipped coffee and juice, read our new Madeline books. This was the best day! We laughed, snuggled, and had a ton of fun. Despite all the sugar there were no meltdowns, no screaming, and no temper tantrums. PURE AWESOMENESS....do it people. Take a day off and enjoy your babies while they are still babies. XXOO
January 19th we had a birthday party for the girls. They requested a horse and chicken party. I dug down deep to find my inner Martha Stewart. Horse Cookies, horse cupcakes, face painting, bubbles, pinata, trampoline, friends and fun. It was a definite success.
THANK YOU JESUS FOR THE GIFT OF MY CHILDREN. THEY ARE MY TREASURE.
